Communion for the Home Bound
Please let us know if you or someone from your family is homebound and desires a visit from a priest, deacon or lay person. The parish staff make Communion calls to the homebound twice a year. The priests and Pastoral Care team bring Communion to those parishioners who cannot easily get out of their homes due to age or temporary or chronic illness.
Lectors are called to proclaim the Word of God at Mass.
As heralds of the word of God, prayerful consideration should be given to participation.
The most effective Lectors carefully prepare by prayerfully studying the Scripture for which they have been scheduled.
The Lector will gain perspective by studying the Scripture that precedes and follows the text selected for the Sunday reading.
Lectors are scheduled to read at a particular Mass; however they should be prepared to read at any Mass if called upon.
