Traditional Latin Mass: Sundays at 10:00am |
Under the direction of the Diocese of Peoria, the Traditional Latin Mass (Mass in the Extraordinary Form) was first offered at St. Valentine Church, in Peru, IL, in 2011. After nearly 5 years at St. Valentine Church, with the gracious welcome of the Very Rev. Antonio Dittmer and the Rev. Paul Carlson, the Illinois Valley Latin Mass community has found a home at the Queen of the Holy Rosary Shrine in LaSalle, IL, as of March 8, 2015. Here, the Latin Mass is offered every Sunday at 10:00am. On every third Sunday, the Mass is offered as a sung High Mass. Also, a Low Mass is offered every first-Saturday of the month at 8:00am.
